US President-elect Donald Trump is considering creating the first-ever White House role dedicated entirely to crypto policy, according to a Nov. 20 Bloomberg report. The report said that Trump is in the process of engaging with industry executives to decide whether or not the new role is necessary. He is reportedly vetting possible candidates for the role as well. Crypto Advocates Want The New Role To Report Directly To Donald Trump It is still unclear whether the role will be another White House staff position or if a “crypto czar” will be established to coordinate policy between federal agencies.
