Elon Musk Lawyer Alex Spiro To Chair $200 Million Dogecoin Treasury Firm

Elon Musk’s personal lawyer Alex Spiro will chair a new public company that plans to raise at least $200 million to create a Dogecoin (DOGE) treasury firm. That’s according to a Fortune report that cited sources familiar with the matter who said the exact launch date and corporate structure of the digital asset treasury company is still unknown. It added that the entity is still in the pitching stage.  But the initiative also has the endorsement of House of Doge, a corporate entity that was launched in early 2025 by the Dogecoin Foundation, the report said.  Despite the news, the DOGE price slid over 1% in the past 24 hours to trade at $0.2174 as of 1:50 a.m. EST in line with a broad pullback that saw the crypto sector’s market cap drop over 2% to around $3.77 trillion. FTX case unwinnable, says Sam Bankman-Fried’s lawyer

Sam Bankman-Fried’s lawyer , David Mills, calls his client the worst witness ever and emphasizes the FTX founder made the case unwinnable .  In a recent interview with Bloomberg, Mills described the former FTX CEO’s trial as one of his most daunting cases yet. The case began with a personal request, as Joseph Bankman and Barbara Fried, Bankman-Fried’s parents and long-time acquaintances, sought his expertise. The parents believed in their son’s innocence and needed a capable defender in his corner. Mills, acknowledging the depth of their friendship, agreed to assist without any financial compensation. Crypto lawyer predicts Ripple legal triumph as token gains 6%

Crypto attorney John Deaton has offered insights into the ongoing Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) vs. Ripple lawsuit, suggesting a favorable outcome for the latter. Deaton has predicted a “99.9% legal victory” for Ripple in its ongoing case versus the SEC. Deaton’s comments were prompted by a post from Ripple Chief Legal Officer Stuart Alderoty, indicating a strong belief that the outcome of the lawsuit weighs heavily in Ripple’s favor.
